Thailand is advancing NDC 3.0 with a stronger focus on sustainable and climate-resilient food systems. This session will explore how policy advocacy, bioeconomy strategies, and cross-sector collaboration can drive food system transformation while supporting both climate resilience and economic sustainability.
This talk highlight key insights from the Food Forward NDC Tool deep-dive sessions, multi-stakeholder dialogues, and action plan development, addressing challenges, breakthroughs, and lessons learned. By linking NDC-driven strategies with circular economy models, nature-based solutions, and sustainable resource management, we aim to foster a low-carbon, resource-efficient food sector.
Sarunphak Kittivorapoom, Project Manager for IKI SCP Thailand Phase II and FLR349 at WWF-Thailand, collaborates with policymakers, businesses, and communities to integrate sustainability into Thailand’s food value chain.
