Our distinguished speaker, Prof. Ts Dr Suraini Abd-Aziz, Vice President of the Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB) and Professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia, brings extensive expertise in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology. With more than 230 peer-reviewed publications and an h-Index of 41, she is widely recognized for her groundbreaking research in bioproducts and biobased chemicals from agro-waste, contributing to zero waste emissions. Prof. Suraini has received multiple accolades, including the title of Malaysia's Top Research Scientist (2018) and recognition as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2022-2024) by Stanford University & Elsevier BV.
