Our distinguished speaker, Professor Lene Lange, brings unparalleled expertise across research, entrepreneurship, and policy domains. As CEO of LL-BioEconomy, Research & Advisory and former Research Director at Novozymes A/S, she has been a pioneering force in enzyme discovery and biomass conversion. Her groundbreaking work includes developing the CUPP system for enzyme protein annotation and advancing fungal secretome applications. With approximately 300 peer-reviewed publications, multiple patents, and over 8,000 citations, Dr. Lange has significantly shaped the bioeconomy landscape through her roles in the Danish Bioeconomy Panel and as Vice Chair of the Scientific Committee for the €3.7 billion EU BBI-JU program
