Gain insights into the FAO principles on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and their benefits for the bioeconomy and sustainability. Learn from Thailand's experience in implementing GAPs, which have improved food safety and quality while protecting the environment. We will discuss collaborative efforts among stakeholders and other critical elements to maximize GAP's potential to drive sustainable agriculture and support the bioeconomy in Thailand and beyond.

Dr. Methinee brings 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, focusing on sustainable agriculture in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Since 2019, she has pursued her passion as an independent scientist, collaborating with various stakeholders to advance the bioeconomy and improve the livelihoods of farmers in Thailand. Her roles include serving on the Public Relations Committee of the Asia Pacific Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (APRSCP) Foundation, the Agricultural Committee of the Thai Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Network, and as Secretary of the GAP Network, among others.
