NDDC set to partner indigenous cassava starch firm to go beyond 250,000 mtpd

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) plans to partner with a Bayelsa-based cassava starch company to surpass its current 250,000 metric tonnes per day production capacity. Executive Director Victor Antai affirmed NDDC's support during a visit to the Ebedebiri Starch Company Limited, emphasizing job creation and local industry promotion. The collaboration aligns with NDDC's development goals and President Ahmed Bola Tinubu's agenda. CEO Tonye Ekiyor welcomed NDDC's interest and sought assistance to expand production to meet national demand.
