Cambodia-China Cassava Alliance Launched to Boost Agricultural Exports

The Cambodia-China Cassava Alliance Association (CCCAA) was officially formed on June 24, 2024, to enhance the export of Cambodian agricultural products to China and global markets. The inauguration, led by Va Roth San, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, highlighted the alliance's role in promoting the cassava industry. The CCCAA will act as a bridge between Chinese and Cambodian investors, providing technical assistance to Cambodian farmers. A memorandum of understanding was signed with key stakeholders to elevate Cambodia's agricultural profile globally. This initiative supports Cambodia's national cassava policy for 2020-2025.
