Forging Collaborative Pathways: Exploring Sustainable Cassava Industry Collaboration between Thailand and Uganda
On 20 April 2023, we had an exciting discussion with executives from PMUC Thailand, including Assc.Prof.Dr. Chaleeda Borompichaichartkul, PMUC's deputy director, Dr. Jeong Hyop Lee, PMUC's Senior advisor, Taya Wannasen, Senior analyst, and Jirapan Christian Linares, Analyst, as well as us, the researchers from ASEAN Cassava Centre, KMUTT and BIOTEC. We were joined by Ms. Barbara Muleana, Executive Director of Mulwana Group and Honorary Consul of Thailand Consulate in Kampa, Uganda, and Ms. Faith Akudu, Corporate Affairs Manager for the Mulwana Group. Dr. Kanchana Saengchana presented the remarkable work done by ASEAN Cassava Centre during our talk about seeking future collaboration between Thailand and Uganda to create a sustainable cassava industry. We are thrilled to work together with our esteemed colleagues and partners towards a brighter future.
