A Productive Inception Meeting for Advancing Bioeconomy in ASEAN
Dr. Warinthorn Songkasiri, Director of the Biochemical Engineering and Systems Biology Research Group at BIOTEC-NSTDA, Thailand, and the project team convened a productive inception meeting today with representatives from the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (FAO RAP) led by Mr. Illias Animon, and the FAO Headquarters team.
This gathering provided a valuable platform for discussing the project titled "Advancing Bioeconomy in ASEAN: Promoting Sustainability and Partnerships with Insights and Experience from Thailand." During the meeting, Dr. Warinthorn presented the comprehensive work plan, and the team engaged in productive dialogue with the FAO representatives. This exchange of insights and feedback laid the groundwork for future collaboration and joint endeavours.
