Advancing Agri-Business: Insights from Mekong Institute Workshop
Dr. Warinthorn Songkasiri, Director of the Biochemical Engineering and Systems Biology Research Group (BIOTEC), recently participated in the Project Synthesis & Evaluation Workshop organized by the Mekong Institute on March 15, 2024 in Khon Kaen, Thailand. This collaborative gathering brought together over 15 participants from government, research institutes, think tanks, and business associations representing the CLMVT region and China.
During the workshop, attendees delved into the evaluation results of the Lancang Mekong Business Forum Project and engaged in synthesizing project ideas aimed at enhancing development and cooperation within the agri-business and food processing sectors. Moving forward, such initiatives offer promising avenues for the advancement of the cassava value chain, providing ample opportunities for growth and innovation within the cassava industry.
