Vietnam Cassava Association held the third congress in Tay Ninh
The conference was attended by prominent figures such as Mr. Nguyen Nhu Cuong from the Department of Crop Production and representatives from various ministries and international organizations. Mr. Nghiem Minh Tien highlighted cassava's significance and the congress's goal to evaluate past progress and elect a new executive committee. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xuan emphasized the growth of cassava cultivation in Tay Ninh province and outlined plans to enhance productivity, innovate processing technology, and diversify cassava products. Tay Ninh aims to expand its production area, control diseases, and improve the value chain of cassava. The congress elected a new executive committee, with Mr. Nghiem Minh Tien retaining his position as President. Exceptional individuals in the cassava industry were honored with certificates of merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
