Groundbreaking Ceremony for FOCOCEV Highlands JSC Processing Plant in Dak Abandonment 11 Kon Ray District

On April 24, 2016, FOCOCEV Highlands JSC initiated a groundbreaking ceremony for a cassava processing plant in rural Dak Abandonment 11 Kon Ray district. Approved by the Highland Kon Tum province People’s Committee, the plant spans 34.8 hectares and has a design capacity of 40,000 tons per year.

On April 24, 2016, FOCOCEV Highlands JSC initiated a groundbreaking ceremony for a cassava processing plant in rural Dak Abandonment 11 Kon Ray district. Approved by the Highland Kon Tum province People’s Committee, the plant spans 34.8 hectares and has a design capacity of 40,000 tons per year, with a total investment exceeding 167 billion. Mr. Trinh Van Xuan, General Director of FOCOCEV Highland Division, emphasized the plant's advanced design and environmental technologies. Deputy Secretary Mr. Huynh Minh Chuong expressed optimism about the plant's capacity to boost district revenues and employment opportunities, facilitating economic and social development. The project aims to increase income for local cassava growers and contribute to poverty reduction, economic stability, and increased state budget revenue.
