Cassava program launches new facility in Laos
On April 12, 2021. The launch of a new facility in Laos by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT's Cassava Program. This facility aims to enhance cassava research and development, particularly focusing on improving crop productivity, resilience, and value chain efficiencies. It will serve as a hub for innovation, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, fostering collaboration between researchers, policymakers, and farmers. Through cutting-edge technologies, field trials, and partnerships, the facility seeks to address key challenges facing cassava production in Laos and neighboring countries.
