CCARS Annual Evaluation Meeting: Advancements, Plans, and Insights
The annual evaluation meeting of the Chinese Cassava Agro-industrial Research System (CCARS) took place successfully in Haikou from December 10 to 13, 2018. Key figures like Division Chief Lei Shi, Vice Director Jianghui Xie, and Principle Scientist Kaimian Li delivered welcome speeches, outlining future evaluation reforms. Scientists and agents from various research laboratories and stations showcased their achievements and plans for the upcoming years. Discussions ensued regarding the work plans for 2019. The Executive Committee Panel addressed organizational matters regarding the book "The Theory and Practice of Modern Agro-industrial Technologies in China-Cassava Part". Prof. Peng Zhang from SCCB and Dr. Qiuxiang Ma also attended the event.
